Hey MCA Worship/Arts Teams!
Our new ministry year is fast approaching and I’m excited to say that the MCA Worship/Arts Ministry will be holding our first ever Launch Summit!
WHAT is a Summit?
It’s an energizing annual kick off that gathers all of us together to re-focus on the mission that God has called us to as a worship community. While “Flourish” is the theme for the whole MCA church, our Worship/Arts teams will have a sub-theme for the year called “BUILD”.
WHY are we doing this?
There’s an old saying, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” Being that we have so many teams spread out across many venues, I felt it was important for us to gather as one team at the start of the year to focus on the WHY and future of our ministry as well as build relationships. I will launch the “BUILD” theme under 3 necessary ideas that will help us: Build IN our lives, Build UP our leadership, and Build OUT our ministry and ultimately FLOURISH.
WHO is it for?
It is for all MCA worship team members, sound team members, media/tech team members, graphics team members, and set-up team members Venue-Wide. This is for the Adult teams and Youth teams that serve in one of these areas. Also, if there is anyone exploring our ministry for the first time, you may invite them to attend as well. Please let me know if you are inviting others so I can have an accurate count.
WHEN is it?
Saturday August 27th from 10am until Noon. Lunch will be served.
